Second Prize 2 Pints of Stella Artois
Third Prize 3 Pints of Stella Artois

The distinctive vests of the Wednesday Evening training should be the give away.
Our First answers:-----
Rick Curwen. Somewhere on Rivington Pike - Lever Park Gardens, I think
Colin Harrison Waugh's well in my native Rossendale valley
St' Eve Bamdebur Somewhere in the country
I know it was difficult, I thought that the runners would give you the clue you needed.................They are Dark Peak lads out on a training session. The White Van Man took the pictures and assures me that it is in the Peak District!
The Blogger had set off from the top of Snake Pass & run around the bogs of High Peak for 4 hours or so, & descended to Woodlands Valley, before running up through the woods & back to the Snake Pass summit. On route back was this culvert! G.R. 411929.
THE WINNER OF OUR COMPETITION ON THE STRENGTH OF EFFORT ONLY, MUST BE RICK CURWEN. THE THIRST PRIZE OF ONE PINT BOTTLE OF STELLA MUST BE COLLECTED IN PERSON BY WEEKEND. THE THIRSTY BLOGGER WILL OBLIGE AND DRINK IT ON YOUR BEHALF IF YOU DO NOT COLLECT.
WATCH OUT FOR THE SEPTEMBER QUIZ, STARTING VERY SOON........................
